Story of Cap & Trade, The Critique

Posted by admin on March 9th, 2010 and filed under story critics | 25 Comments »

This is a Critique of, “The Story of Cap & Trade,” by Annie Leonard. I previously debunked her leftist Indoctrination video called, “The Story of Stuff.” That four-part series can be seen below along with other links for references. “The Story of Cap & Trade” at the very least attacks the abject absurdity of Cap & Trade.

Good Ending Part 1/2 in Disgaea 2 Cursed Memories

Good Ending Part 1/2 in Disgaea 2 Cursed Memories

The Good / Normal Ending in Disgaea 2 Cursed Memories acquired through having Adell be a good boy and not get felonies nor kill your allies. Most players are likely to unlock this ending upon the game’s end. This is Part One of two and with any ending, it’s recommended to see the whole thing.

SPOILER THEATER: Spoils
Fake Zenon talks crap and is still confident even though he’s boasting at his power, he increase’s the curse making hanako and Taro hurt, then fires a kamehameha Wave at the characters, Adell Takes it all protecting the others. Rozalin feels weak and about to give up when… her inner power emerges once more, taking over her conciousness. She pleads for the power to save everyone and then the seal breaks! Fake Zenon reveals that Zenon has finally awakened, Seems like Rozalin is Overlord Zenon, so to speak that is. Which if you think about it, the first summon at the very beginning of the game actually worked correctly and truly did summon Overlord Zenon a.k.a. Rozalin. Rozalin kills Fake zenon in a darkly blast, Then she stands there alone, she threatens Adell and the others. She boasts but then everyone tries to talk her out of it. The music is good and feels appropriate for this scene, Tink, Hanako, Yukimaru, and Adell try to talk to her sincerely. You have friends that care about you, and Etna! Adell upholds his promise and moves in to hold her tightly in his arms, embracing her. She doesn’t seem to resist and then starts to return to normal, when Adell tells her to trust THIS! With a Kiss suddenly. WOOT! OMG Adell and Rozalin Kissed, oh my GOD GOSH GOLLY!

…and part 1 out of two parts concludes, stay tuned for the following video and it has the credits with nice art and images and then a last scene narrated by Hanako.

Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories (魔界戦記ディスガイア2, Makai Senki Disugaia Tsū?, lit. “Netherworld Battle Chronicle: Disgaea 2″) is a tactical role-playing game developed and published by Nippon Ichi Software for the PlayStation 2 video game console. Disgaea 2 is the sequel to 2003’s Disgaea: Hour of Darkness for the PlayStation 2 and was released in Japan on February 23, 2006 and North America on August 29, 2006. It is also the predecessor to Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice for the PlayStation 3. Unlike Nippon Ichi’s previous games, Disgaea 2 is on DVD-ROM and has an animated opening movie. It was re-released for the PlayStation Portable as Disgaea 2 Portable in Japan and as Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days in the United States.

Story Synopsis: Fifteen years ago, a powerful Overlord by the name of Zenon appeared on Veldime and cursed its human population. Since then, all its inhabitants became demons and were to remain that way if the curse was not broken. However, a young man named Adell was the only human unaffected by the curse. Wanting to save his family and return them back to their true form, Adell decides to defeat Zenon. Adell’s mother, a summoner, tries to summon Zenon and failed, and instead summoned Rozalin, Zenon’s daughter. They later go on a quest to find Zenon and return Rozalin to him, and then defeat him so that the curse would be lifted, and so his family would be human again.

Soul Reaver Movie part 3(of 11) Legacy of Kain

Posted by admin on March 6th, 2010 and filed under story plot | 14 Comments »

All of the Soul Reaver 1 story from the Opening FMV to the end of the titles including all dialogue, glyphs and boss fights.
All honour to all the creators of the Legacy of Kain game series.

Part 3
Vampire Wraith, Finding Melchiah, Melchiah’s soul

Notes
Ok, could have made this shorter, not much happens here.
Shame Raziel seems to lose that fire retardancy in his skin in SR2 or is it because they are ‘magic’ fireballs they throw at him?
That’s a very conveniently placed meat masher, his immortal flesh won’t be closing after that cleaving!
Ooh look there’s my favourite spear hovering in the air at the end.
