This week on Thread Heads bust out your crochet needles and get inspired as we hang out with Alicia of Unicocreations. And trust us, this ain’t your grandmother’s crocheting. She’ll be hookin’ us up with a quick lesson and a look at her unique jewelry. Plus book reviews, web viewers, some cool stuff from the forum. Tip of the week: when life throws you scraps, make a quilt.

Story of Stuff, Full Version; How Things Work, About Stuff

From its extraction through sale, use and disposal, all the stuff in our lives affects communities at home and abroad, yet most of this is hidden from view. The Story of Stuff is a 20-minute, fast-paced, fact-filled look at the underside of our production and consumption patterns. The Story of Stuff exposes the connections between a huge number of environmental and social issues, and calls us together to create a more sustainable and just world. It’ll teach you something, it’ll make you laugh, and it just may change the way you look at all the stuff in your life forever.

[Short Story] How Much Do You Love Me?

Posted by admin on January 30th, 2010 and filed under story plot | 25 Comments »

Instead of making MMV’s, I’ve decided to give a short story a shot. =3 I hope you guys enjoy this story.

I got the plot from a chain letter I recieved in hotmail o_O But I thought it was so sweet, so I decided to make a story on it.

STORY :

Rachel moved into town, but she has cancer. Although she didn’t want to find love, Jack appeared and she couldnt help herself. Their love lasts for 2 years until..

Enjoy&Have a good day!

Oh and also some of you guys have noticed that it says 18xx – 19xx . . . sorry.. that’s a typo D; Jack is supposed to be about 19 and Rachel should be 18. ^^;

First Song – Yuki No Hana by Mika Nakashima
Second Song – Sakurairo Maukoro by Mika Nakashima.
