My point is, that being a “free nation” with limited Gov’t had very little to do with the vast differences in wealth between Europe (and North America) and the rest of the world. One of the reasons Europeans became wealthy is because of the agricultural resources that were available to them (among other factors of course), once this initial advantage was granted, it was ceased upon by centuries of colonial and neo-colonial exploitation of other groups of people.
