    I’m currently …
I’m currently reading ‘How To Survive The End Of The World As We Know It’ by James Wesley, Rawles and it’s also excellent. In one way, it’s like Patriot’s but minus the storyline and in another way, it is alot more information on all the topics covered in Patriots (but not able to be discussed in detail due to space constraints in the novel).

I consider ‘How to Survive’ a must read, just like Patriots. Tomorrow, I’m off to get a copy of The Rise of the Fourth Reich.

    The reason they’re …
The reason they’re reporting these numbers that go against each other is this…they don’t believe anyone is going to put together these different pieces of information and call them out on it. Good for you for having the common sense to put it together.

Salutations! Have you ever wondered about why we have the unemployment issue and the root cause of it all? I have and I can’t lay my hand on the name of the act right now as I am multitasking and I think if I do one more thing my computer will blow up. It was an act that at first allowed cooperation’s to outsource and then the final death blow was this. They took all of their capital equipment out of the country. No machinery = no jobs. When was Bethlehem Steel finally closed? There it is.

    If you like …
If you like Patriots try “Lights Out”. It is a free internet book and while I liked Patriots, I think “Lights Out” is much better and maybe more realistic. Generally the same story line. If you can’t find it let me know and I will email it to you, I think I still have the .pdf.

    If you really think …
If you really think about it ……under the U3 method of determining unemployment the number could stay at 9.4% and eventually the entire country could be out of work. In fact if the entire country was out of work for more than 6 months then the U3 statistics would show 0% unemployment.

Unemployment also doesnt acount for the masses who stoped looking for jobs.

Unemployment rate only quantifies the millions recieving unemployment benefits.

I wonder what the the Real unemployment percentage is?

I’m reading “War is a Racket” by U.S. Marine General Smedley Butler. Back in the thirties the oligarchy tried to enlist Gen. Butler in a coup against FDR. The records have been destroyed of Gen. Butler’s testimony in Congress. FDR said, “Now, now, my rich friends, play nice.”

The only way the unemployment rate could go down with the loss of 300,000 jobs, is if a lotta people died or retired…or just weren’t counted anymore.

I never trust percentages. Too many variables.

    Unemployment …
Unemployment decreased 0.1% and the market rallied. Look at the difference between U3, the gov.’t stat used, & U5/U6The rate is increasing like it did during the 30’s. The gov.’t doesn’t include underemployed and the bigger issue is they don’t include “Discouraged Workers”. The Civilian Labor Force decreased 422,000 (July 09) according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The majority of that stat are people who are “Discouraged” so they are no longer considered part of the supply of labor.
