What stories are in Tales of Mystery and Terror by Edgar Allan Poe?

I "read" the book for school, without realizing I read the retold version with four stories in it. I don’t have time to get the original book from the library, but I have a lot of Poe’s stories at hand. If you could give me a list of the stories in Tales of Mystery and Terror, that’d be great!

The Sphinx
The fall of the House of Usher
The Oval Portrait
MS found in a bottle
A Descent into the Maelstrom
The Tell-Tale Heart
The Oblong Box
The Masque of the Red Death
Hop Frog
Some Words with a Mummy
William Wilson
The Black Cat
The Pit and the Pendulum

I read some of the book a while back, but unfortunately, I don’t remember all of the stories. I know it included The Black Cat, The Tell-Tale Heart, The Cask of Amontillado, The Pit and the Pendulum, and The Fall of the House of Usher, if that helps.

Are you talking about the illustrated version, illustrated by Gris Grimly? (Love his art.) I worked on the book a while back, but I think these are the stories Gris decided to retell: "The Fall of the House of Usher," "The Masque of the Red Death," "Hop Frog," and I THINK the last one was "The Tell-Tale Heart."

If I guessed correctly and you like Gris’s art, you should chec out his retelling of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, and he’s coming out with another Edgar Allan Poe retelling, but lord knows when that’s going to be done!

    Hope this helps!
