What do you feel gets overlooked? Are there stories or story categories you should make the news but don’t? I am in college to become a reporter, so I want to know what people think.

I want to see more stories about acts of compassion…people helping people for no reason or reward at all, just because they are driven to do it. I want to see more stories about the
education system in the USA, stories about children and the effects of poverty and stories about hunger in the USA.

   Good news stories. We always get the bad news and of course we need to know what’s going on, but it’s nice to know that there are good things going on too. Kind of balances out the news I think. Let’s us know that our world and our community aren’t all bad.
