Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.

    @ZEITGEISTism Set & …
    @ZEITGEISTism Set & Setting, same deal with all hallucinogens. Your trip will be influenced on your mental state when you begin the trip, and also by your surroundings and interactions throughout. If you drop acid while being shot at, or when you’re at somebody, you aren’t going to have a nice trip.

    @ZEITGEISTism “So what’s it like being on LSD?”
    It’s a sanitzed version of mushrooms and yes, both depend on your mood and frame of mind but it’s nothing to be worried about unless you have some unconfronted demons.

    machine’s wrath, …
    machine’s wrath, but have to live with it’s oppressiveness, and you aren’t free. If you rebel, then the machine outright attacks you in warfare, but you are free, and have a chance at beating it and being rid of it’s oppressiveness.

    So that’s why I’m on the fence with drugs; I can’t decide whether I want to submit to the machine and have stability or go to war and risk everything to potentially win someday, but also risk being defeated and ending up in a worse state than before.

  18. zcrosby Says:

    feelings cause us …
    feelings cause us inner tension and pain. to release such pent-up pain is ego death, and I imagine it is one of the greatest releases we can feel. But until the ego is dissolved, it will be fighting, and drugs might (at least they did for me) stir up revolt against the ego and lead to bloody conflicts, conflicts which will be good in the long run but difficult to experience.

    In essence I see drugs as rebels fighting the machine rather than submitting. If you submit you are spared the

  19. zcrosby Says:

    have stayed …
    have stayed consciously more or less contented with my ego and my attachments. I didn’t consciously know it before I did drugs, but I had a lot of issues like depression that drugs made more apparent to me.

    Drugs break down the egos defences, which are defending against a lot of difficult emotions, difficult because at points in our lives we got the message that they were unnacceptable. The ego fights our repressed feelings because it doesn’t think they’re allowed, but these repressed

  20. zcrosby Says:

    I think ego death …
    I think ego death is a good pursuit for a man, and I think acid can contribute to ego death; the dissolution of the mental forms that guide our souls–the self-representation.

    But ego death is a difficult journey because our souls are strongly attached to our self-representations, and so letting go of them feels like a kind of death. I’ve been trying to do it for a long time and it’s going, but it has been painful and scary at times. I think if I hadn’t done lsd or other drugs then I would

  21. ZEITGEISTism Says:

    Zaratok
    So whats it …

    Zaratok
    So whats it like being on Lsd ? I forgot his name but there was a professor in the 1960s who traveled around the usa in a hippie bus Promoting LSD & giving it to People for free He got away with it because he was doing “research” into its benefits He took it himself & said it is excellent for mind expansion etc But doesnt it depend on your state of mind at the time your taking it as to how it affects you? I heard it can you up if your not in the right frame of mind eg depressed etc

  22. scottman12 Says:

    why didnt he take …
    why didnt he take off from the ground first ? lol lol

  23. bygodthatsenough Says:

    Some of you, right …
    Some of you, right now, are high; some of you are not. but one thing you must all be realizing right now, whether you can handle it or not, is that human beings are F****ED up. And that it is absolutely OK Some of you might be struggling with the OK part, but don’t focus to much on the F***ED up part. We’re just humans, get over it. We’re boss. So what. Life goes on. We die. We go extinct. And the planet keeps rolling. We are at the top of the food chain, and it’s lonely on top. Get on with it.

  24. Zaratok Says:

    @zcrosby Actually, …
    @zcrosby Actually, it IS my job to understand it. As a free thinking individual living in this country. And I do understand it, far better than most of my countrymen. Your posts are getting more convoluted, you say your body is going to crave them – a host of psychoactive substances including cannbis, all the varieties of psychoactive mushrooms, LSD, Salvia, etc., do not make you chemically dependent on them with heavy use.
