Story

I’m using my english textbook for reference but idk how to cite it. When I use a line from a story, do I cite the textbook or the author of the story? Also, if I’m giving a summary of a short story, how would I cite that within the paper?

   text-book given as reference–not huge clumps but enough to show you can think for yourself
