Where can I post my short stories and short screenplays online for free?

I hope it is easy to use and other writers can criticize my work.
I hope it protects its users.

If you like to write with others, check out my favorite writing site: http://StoryMash.com

It’s collaborative fiction that also pays for every chapter you publish. You can start your own, or publish new chapters to continue stories written by others. The pay isn’t a lot unless you already have a large audience, but the best part is the feedback from other very talented writers. Also, some of the stories are very entertaining!

Try Associated Content. You will also generate a tiny amount of money as people read your stuff.

Getting reviews from others for free is … well, it’s worth what you pay for it.

I use ScribeShare to post mine, http://www.scribeshare.net .

But just so you know, no site protects their users. They legally cannot do it unless they claim some sort of ownership to your work. If you give you work to anyone, public viewing or not, protect yourself by copyrighting what you have.

I wouldn’t use any other site but this one to copyright your work since this one is operated directly by the government.
