Any suggestions on good modern love story books?

Posted by admin on April 15th, 2011 and filed under story books | 1 Comment »

I like the kinds of books that are romantic and suspensful, much like Romeo and Juliet, but I also like modern. I just want any suggestions on good love stories/books/novels.

Read The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, or Mama Day by Gloria Naylor. Both are excellent.

Does anyone know any young adult romance love story books?

What are some traditional spanish story books for children?

Posted by admin on October 24th, 2010 and filed under story books | 1 Comment »

I’m doing a lesson for my Global Citezenship class on learning languages in different countries and I needed some books, or tv shows that are used in Spanish speaking countries. If you list some books or shows that were read or viewed as a child that would help out enormously!

Just go to the public library and ask a librarian. Most libraries in the USA have some books in Spanish for children, and they are chosen carefully. A librarian can help you find them online even if they aren’t in their own building.

Please suggest me some story books in English for reading for the children between age Group of 5 to7 yrs?

I want to start library of story books for the children free of cost for the age group of 5 to 8 years. I want information about the names of the books their authors publishers. I want the books that contains pictures and simple language so that children can read them without the help of anyone

Childrens authors and artists want payment for their books but many have web pages with activities to do with books.

Let’s Read ☆Rosalina’s Story Book☆ Part 1 of 2

*Bonus video* for Let’s Play Super Mario Galaxy. This is Rosalina’s Story, as read by Donnabellez. (PART 1)

Hey guys, in this video I’ve decided to present Rosalina’s story with no extraneous commentary, and in a manner that I believe is appropriate. Some of my favorite memories from when I was little are those of my grandma and I reading children’s books before bedtime. I think this book and it’s musical accompaniment are so sweet…and I’m not gonna lie, it really does get to me a little. :’D Hehehe.

You don’t have to watch, but I thought maybe this would be something good to listen to at night or when you can’t sleep. Hope you enjoy it!!

What are some children’s story books that involve alienation and how does the book or character experience or go through alienation?

My fave: "Harriet the Spy." When Harriet’s notebook is found and read, she is ostracized by her classmates.

"Blubber:" the "fat girl" is hounded relentlessly by the popular crowd, until one of the popular girls is turned against
