Where in the Philippines or asia can i buy the complete set of bible story books by arthur maxwell?

i grew up reading these set of books, unfortunately when my siblings and i started going off to college, my mother thought we would outgrow our love for these books so she donated it to the church. Now that i am a sunday school teacher i realize how helpful the books are since it has very good illustrations. Please do help me. thanks.

What are some good easier to read true story books..?

I’m reading a stolen life right now and really liking it. Just wondering what some other good true story books are. Maybe one’s written by survivors or such. I’m just getting back into reading, so I wouldn’t want anything to difficult.

I personally like Zak bagan’s Night World. It his true adventres as a Paranormal Investigator. It’s a little biographical, but it’s honestly a really good read that is sure to make you think.

I am in the mood for reading a ghost story book as I have recently read a good one called "The Small Hand" by Susan Hill and I really enjoyed it.

I don’t like books that are poorly written and I love books set in the victorian era or written in a style common in the victorian era but the latter doesn’t matter.

I’d like if the book was chilling and exciting.

Are there any books similar to Toy Story?

I just finished watching Toy Story 3 and LOVED it. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for books with a similar feel? Definitely not a similar concept or storyline, just generally exciting, adventure-y, emotional, type stories/books that work in the same way, with a sense of a very tangible world going on.

Alternatively, are there any books like "Up"? Or other pixar films?

If you can get ahold of them, go for the classics like Treasure Island and Peter Pan, among others. When they haven’t been softened for the reading by children, they are quite adventurous and surprising as well. You’re already familiar with the stories, but the original authors tell them a bit differently than you’re used to. Its work a look, most definitely.

well, i love to read books, especially story books.
if there is, what is the requirements to get that job and what they do?

You could become a Literature Professor, I suppose.
Requirements- PhD in literature (analysis, I’d think)
Duties- teach at a university, publish articles and books arguing about literature, its role in history, its meaning, etc

Im a teenager(13). Im at a stage were i’m obsessed with greek mythology and i was wondering if there are any good book that i might could read or stuff online like short stories? I can read big words big i’m not a adult! Thanks

The best reference site for greek mythology as a whole is http://www.theoi.com/ . It gives full description of each Greek mythological figure directly from the literary source. http://www.greek-gods.info/ would give you full info about the gods.

In terms of books, I recommed the books "Mythology" by Edith Hamilton, "Greek myths" by Olivia E. Collidge, and "The Complete Encyclopedia of Greek Mythology".

The book "Gods of the Greeks" by Carl Kerenyi is undoubtedly the best reference book about the Greek gods. However, it’s targeted mostly for serious mythology hobbyists so some words can be really deep and confusing for starters.

Are there 7 books ? My son’s book order shows 7 sets. I don’t know if that’s a complete set from beginning to end or not. My son is in 3rd grade and is 9 years old. Would the Harry Potter books too hard for him to understand ? I’m trying to decide if I should get it for him or not.

9 is a good age to START. But, be warned, read slowly, because the last three books are meant for a little older, I’d say 10 or 11-15.

I started at 9, and tried to read the Deathly Hallows around 11, it was terrifying, (I read it 2 years later and LOVED it), but 9 was definitely a great age to start.

I have found that there are several movies neverending story 1, 2, 3 and some movies called tales from the neverending story. how many neverending story books were there ? How many of these movies are actuly based on the book or books

There was only one true neverending story novel, as for the movies. the first movie is loosely based off the first half of the book, it differs quite a bit from it. As for the other movies they just used the same characters and premise but were NOT based on the book.
