Hi, I can’t think of the word right now, but what’s the word for a collection of short-stories or a short-story book?

Hi, I would like to get a book of short-stories published (12 or so) How would I go about doing that? Should I get an agent or just send my work in to a publisher?

Before any reputable publisher will be interested in a book of your stories, you’ll have to establish a track record by publishing individual stories in various magazines. The book "Writer’s Market" (your local library might have a copy) is one good source for information about journals that publish short stories. This website is another source:

I am in grade 6 and i can’t seem to find the right books for me.., so can any of you guys tell me any great adventure story books or action. something that’s really cool and interesting!

hi does anyone know a childrens story book about three stupid robbers who try and steal blackpool tower? it was so funny but i cant remember what it was called. any help i will be soooo greateful!

The three young Trolips is the one I remember.

I have to do a project about dna replication (when it splits and a new one forms) for example the two strands of dna were going out and they get a divorce and etc. etc. Can someone tell me some ideas? its supposed to be like a child story book. title of mine is "dna love".

You could start with the mother strand and show how the daughter strands come from the mother strand to be brought together with their "perfect match" or something like that. I do not know how in depth you have to get (enzymes/proteins etc) but this might work for what you are trying to do.

Jane Eyre. One of the best! Also Dr Zhivago. and, if you don’t mind a bit of sci fi, I would definitely recommend "Lightning" by Dean R Koontz.
