I was wondering if anyone knows of any good websites that have a lot of good, original scary short stories. A lot of them are ones I have heard before and some aren’t that scary or way too long. I am looking for ones I can read aloud in like under an hour or so. Any suggestions?

Try the White House webpage. Na just jokin’ try Quizilla they have some good stories on there, what you expect when you find out the age of the authors makes you wonder but they are really good.

I need to read a short story by edgar allen poe but want to read online. Please no sparknotes or summaries, the whole story. I also cannot read The Cask Of the Amontillado and The tell tale heart.

Not sure which one you already saw, here are a couple. The first is a classic, "The Last Question". The second I’d never heard of. He’s ridiculously well-published though…if you go to your nearest used bookstore, you’ll probably find at least a dozen titles, some for less than a dollar. Good luck!
