The peaceful waters of the Louisiana bayou are shattered by a brutal crime. Prime suspects are Beaux (Johnathon Schaech) and his mentally handicapped brother, Pemon (Fred Koehler), who struggle to make ends meet running a local bait shop. After eloping with Beaux's old flame (Tamara Braun), the sheriff (Jeremy Davidson) sets his sights on taking away the only other thing Beaux has left - his brother. |

Johnathon Schaech ("Beaux Dupuis") was born in Edgewood, Maryland. When he was 19 years old he left the University of Maryland and moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. Johnathon is most recognizable as the lead in Tom Hanks’ THAT THING YOU DO! as well as the cult classic THE DOOM GENERATION. He can also be seen in the upcoming films PROM NIGHT (opposite Brittany Snow) and QUARANTINED. |

Fred Koehler ("Pemon Dupuis") has had a prolific acting career for over 25 years beginning with starring roles in MR. MOM and TV’s KATE & ALLIE. He received his training at Carnegie Mellon University where he graduated with a BFA. He can be seen in a number of notable films including DOMINO and DIVINE SECRETS OF THE YA-YA SISTERHOOD as well as recurring roles on television shows OZ and PEPPER DENNIS. He can also be seen along side Jason Statham and Joan Allen in Paul W.S. Anderson’s upcoming DEATH RACE for Universal. |

Tamara Braun ("Marie-Louise Lebauve") is most well-recognized for her Emmy-nominated portrayal of the fan-favorite 'Carly Corinthos' on the ABC daytime drama GENERAL HOSPITAL. At the time of her nomination, she was the youngest actress to be nominated in the"Best Lead Actress" category. Since leaving her role on GENERAL HOSPITAL, Tamara has enjoyed recurring and Guest Starring roles on such TV shows as FREDDIE, COLD CASE, HOUSE, WITHOUT A TRACE, CSI and many others. She will be joining the cast of DAYS OF OUR LIVES in February, 2008. Look for Tamara as the femme fatale, 'Anya', in the upcoming film LIMBO LOUNGE. |

Clifton Collins ("T-Boy Trahan"), who is arguably best known for his role as murderer 'Perry Smith' opposite Phillip Seymour Hoffman in CAPOTE, was most recently seen in a small but memorable role opposite Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett in Alejandro Gonzales Inarritu's film, BABEL. He was also nominated for a 2006 Emmy Award for his work in the limited-run FX series, THIEF. Bethany Ashton Wolf began her career in Los Angeles as an actress but soon found herself co-writing and co-producing the controversial India film, DON'S PLUM, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire. After that she went on to write, produce, and star in the short film, THE BURGUNDY ROOM, winning three awards at the Louisiana Video Shorts Festival in New Orleans, including "The Best of the Fest" award. Her Next project was a SAG experimental called FIRST AND LAST in which she wrote, directed, produced and starred in, followed by her short film, WAIT, which was screened at the Waterfront Film Festival to a standing ovation.
LITTLE CHENIER is Bethany's feature directorial debut.
Bethany Ashton Wolf and Jace Johnson are the sister and brother writing team behind LITTLE CHENIER. They grew up in Lake Charles, Louisiana, a place surrounded by neighboring bayou towns and swamps. Their parents had an insatiable love of the bayou county, and Bethany and Jace grew up fishing, swimming, and boating in the bayous of Louisiana before they could even walk. Growing up in a family of Southern storytellers and artists, Bethany and Jace moved to Los Angeles in their early twenties to immerse themselves into the world of writing, directing, acting and producing. |
