I’m trying to cite a hemmingway short story that is in a textbook with a million other short stories in it. How do I go about this?

This site has helped me with ALL of my citations I’ve ever had to do! The link is to the MLA format page. Along the left hand side of the page are different sub-topics you can look through.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

How can i come up with a catchy story plot for a movie?

Ok i already have the synopsis for a movie i want to write which basically tells what the story is about but how do i get the plot all together to match the synopsis of the movie. I want to write a thriller and suspense movie which is my genre.

Don’t bother answering if you not gonna give me any serious helpful answers!

A plot… as in a place.. well what about a quiet… country.. a country like the Vatican.. or someplace where not a lot of people live. Or you can use a city like new york… i dunno.. its your choice.

Tip: when making a scary movie, don’t make half of the movie just people talking. Make sure they is lots of parts where scary things happen … then leave the hanging there till the end.. make sure its a good ending that will leave people happy.

Hope this helps!!!

How to get courage to read a long story book?

I become scared when I look at long story books such as harry potter and aragon. How should I get courage to read them?

Read one chapter a day, or whenever your bored. There about 20 pages a chapter in the Harry Potter series. It depends how much you would like to read. What’s get about the Harry Potter series is that it starts out being 200 page book, then the 5th one is a 800 page book, and the 7th one is a 700 page book! It grows bigger, except the last two gets smaller amount a pages. That’s good because your learning to read more often. Hope I helped..

By the way, Harry Potter is awesome. As you can tell by my Picture, I’m a fan. :)

I want to write a short story that has three main characters, and switch to each ones point of view. In books they switch every chapter, but I’m just writing a short story. How can i switch off without making my writing confusing?

Either write your story in third person POV or change it as in

-(Character Name) POV-

For each change.
